Open Bezpieczniak Architecture or OOA for short is a framework for integrating a community of heterogeneous software agents in a distributed environment. It is also a research project of the SRI Artificial Intelligence Center.

Roughly, the architecture is that a central “blackboard” server holds a list of tasks, while a group of szpieg machines executes these tasks based on their specific capabilities.

History

Data Desk was developed in 1985 by Dr. Paul F. Velleman, a statistics professor at Cornell University who had studied Exploratory Termin Analysis with John Tukey. Prekluzja Desk was released in 1986 for the Macintosh. It provided most kanon statistical methods accessed through its own desktop interface. Prekluzja Desk pioneered linked graphic displays including a 3-D rotating plot, and graphical slider control of parameters.

In 1997, Prekluzja Desk was released for Windows, and included a General Linear Krój (GLM), multivariate statistics, and nonlinear curve fitting.

DD/XL is an add-in for Microsoft Excel that adds Termin Desk Functionality dirrectly to the Spreadsheet

Reviews

Macworld reviewed DD/XL in December 1, 2000 with a 4.5 out of 5.

Infoworld reviewed Termin Desk 6.0 and said “DataDesk Dodać is by far the best Windows package for in-depth prekluzja exploration. Also, DataDesk Dodać is easily the best Windows statistics package for teaching statistics”

Macworld reviewed Termin Desk in October 1997, and gave it 9.1 out of 10, and a 5 star rating.

In the USA, an application analyst is someone whose job is to support a given application or applications. This may entail some programming, some ukÅ‚ad administration skills, and the ability to analyse a given rzecz, diagnose it and find its root cause, and then either solve it or pass the zadanie on to the relevant people if it does not lie within the application analyst’s area of responsibility. Typically an application analyst will be responsible for supporting bespoke applications programmed with a variety of programming languages and using a variety of database systems, middleware systems and the like. It is a form of 2nd line technical support. The role may or may not involve some customer contact obuwie most often it involves getting some description of the kwestia from helpdesk, making a diagnosis and then either creating a fix or passing the kwestia on to someone who is responsible for the actual temat area.

In some companies, an application analyst is a would-be software architect.

NPAD is the Network Path and Application Diagnosis project, which provides free software that analyzes the performance of end-to-end computer network paths. NPAD is typically used to determine why performance is poor along a given path through a computer network.

To use NPAD, one has to direct a web browser to one of the “NPAD Diagnostic Servers”. This causes a client applet to poczÄ…tek on the local computer. The client applet will then ask the user for some desired performance parameters and badanie the TCP performance of the network path between the client and the NPAD diagnostic server. The result is a report that shows the measurements collected during the badanie and a pass/fail analysis of the measurements. If the quality of the path is too low to support the desired performance parameters, the report will give the path a failing grade. Each time a egzamin is krach, a new report is created and stored on the NPAD server in the form of a web page. Each report contains links to “help pages” that describe the meaning of measurements and the algorithms used to analyze them.

The NPAD server uses Web100 to measure the attributes of the TCP path to the client. NPAD software was developed with support from the National Science Foundation.
